If you ever go to the UK to detect, try and stay at a small village (population of 200 or less) hopefully at a pub offering a B&B. If you enter a pub that has a printed menu, go find a different pub because the food will likely be terrible / frozen / franchise food. If the pub has a chalk board menu or no menu at all, the food will taste a lot better. Here is our choice of what we got to eat that week.

This pub does not generally serve food on Tuesdays but did so just for Keith and I because they like us and know the farmers will come in each evening we are there to see our finds and root through all the junk we bring in along with our good finds. Here is Keith and me watching some farmers sort through the junk we found. They like seeing the junk as much as the good stuff that comes off their fields.

Thanks for looking.
