I want to order the Detech 13in ultimate DD this week but cant seem to find any reviews or anything on this product. I bought the 12 x 15 SEF for the T2 and didnt like it one bit. I really want a new coil so I have options but I dont want to spend another 200 for something that works no better then the stock coil. I love the stock coil and I know its gonna be the best for this machine because its made for it. I just would like to be able to have dif weapons for dif conditions. If anyone knows anything about this coil please help me out. I will order it either way probably so if knobody's heard anything I will be sure to post my experiences for the next guy. Thank you for reading. The T2 is one GREAT detector the one and only thing it lacks for me is there is no coil selection. Maybe you just dont need them because the stock coil pretty much handles everything I throw at it.

Ultimate DD 13in coil for the T2, Has anyone used this coil yet? Or heard anything.

I would hang with the stock coil until you get the exact Detech info on the T2 you are seeking. I heard good things about the Detech, but coils may be great on one machine and not the other. Especially since the T2 coil is made 'specifically' for the T2 and no other.
I have the 5" and 15X18 SEF coils for my T2. They each have their own place in my arsenal. I'm not sure how a 13" coil would be better than the SEF coil you have. What are you expecting from the 13" ultimate coil? Will it give you anything more than what you get with the current coils you have? Just something to think about.

I have one on the way. I have &I use a 12/15 sef coil &I really like it, the only draw back is its weigh. Thats why i am getting the ultimate coil.

I gave the 13" Ultimate coil a test run in a hammered Confederate camp today & found a few things. It's light well balanced & sensitive to small things. I found a .36 cal pistol ball around 5" deep.

Its a little early in using it, but maybe later on you can give us your opinon on how you rate the Detech's performance vs the factory coil. Kind of a blow by blow analysis of targets....coins...ferrous...non-ferrous etc.
