Good golly .. Nice bottle , some pretty crude etching. Definitely the right time period, It must have taken a little while to ding the bottle that many times. Just the right amount of pressure , too much and risk cracking it not enough, and no marks. Congrats very nice find indeed. Good thing that type of bottle is thick.

That is amazing. I know it is priceless, and if I found it I would keep it in my collection. I know nothing about bottles and their value, so I am curious if there is a market for this type of bottle, and what it might be worth if trying to sell it.
 
Nice find I'm friends with a local archaeologist I've seen bottles in his collection dating back 1600's crazy!

Thanks for the comments...The value is what someone would pay for it. It would only leave my collection for $5000 to $10000 and that money would be used toward a new boat for diving........I dont hunt relics for income but I will sell a few to fund my hobby gear sometimes...A self supporting or at least a self contributing hobby keeps my wife happy...
