It's a real Ace 250 just with all of the electronics waterproofed for shallow water hunting. It has the standard elliptical coil so it should still hit a quarter at 8 to 10 inches I'd guess? The less discrimination you use the better depth you'll get and when I water hunt I use NO disc. at all and dig everything. It's a hot little unit. Got a small, long handled scoop if anyone needs that too. We can work a package deal.
