Unhappy with Machines

I have three Machines Tesoro, White, and Garrett, so I am not prejudiced. Years ago I decided to get a better machine, so I sold my Garrett Ground Hog and bought a Garrett GTA 1000. I have not been happy since. I really regret selling that Ground Hog. The Ground Hog had non motion discrimination and I dug coins ignoring junk all the time. I gave up rings and nickels but I was happy digging. All my current machines are very good but I can not go very slow hunting trashy areas like I could with the Ground Hog. I have not looked at the newer technology in some time.

My question is does any of the Upper end Machines offer the same non motion discrimination that my Ground Hog had, while still giving me the newer features?

If you like "slow" then you may want to check out Minelab. Their machines are known for punching through trash but you do have to move slow! Having to move slow hurt me in the beginning, as I was a White's man and used to whipping the coil, but recently paid off with a nice 14K gold mans wedding band weighing in at .26 oz............that was under a full pull tab! :)

You are most welcome......glad I was able to please a few with a great buy. Enjoy.

I dont know if you have ever used a Teknetics Mark 1 but in a heavy trash area the slow sweep speed of the Mark 1 coupled with the great audio tones make for a killer trash machine. Even though the Mark 1 is 26 years old this year it is still one of the best trash, park and tot lot machins you can use. Using the Whies six shooter coil with the Mark 1 will really get in between the trash and help to find the goodies. Hope this helps. Have a good one and happy hunting...
