Illustration looks of oriental origin, but doubt it is. Someone else could determine age better than I could. My guess would be early 1800's?? Where was this item found?
You find the term Rich Treble Gilt on buttons. Gilt was a gold coloring normally. That looks middle east to me... my guess would be late 1800s or early 1900s.

To my knowledge it's still probably 1830 - 1840 years, and made this button in one of the states in North America for civilian uniforms someone from the representatives in Southeast Asia.

Place finds the button I do not know. I bought her a long time, but still can not accurately establish its origin and at least an approximate value.
