Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

I think it is the 'problems of this world' that make us depressed because we forget what God has planned.


Psalm 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Keeping our eyes not on worldly situations, how can we not be glad and rejoice? (Too bad though we have to live in this 'world' where things are not as they should be.)
