Unusual finds today -

At least down here in our city these coins are hard to find. I worked a park's field for about 3 hours, dug 50 coins, the 1961 dime, silver nickel 1943, old nickel 1949 and a wheat 1945.

I also dug this Washington quarter - old George sure took it in the shorts when he tangled with the lawn mower ! You can see part of the eagle's wing & foot.

Had almost forgotten what silver coinage looked like :) Lots of winds today, steve in so az

Good going on the hunt and older coins and it has been really windy here in MO for several days but since the storms of thunder and lightning with lots of rain last night the winds have calmed down a lot to what they were! In one way with your sweating the wind can cool you like an A/C and help you to stay cooler for the day! May God Bless! Ma Betty

Man the Qtr really got chewed up bad! :starwars::stretcher:

my future in this kind of hunt. The tot lots are giving up less, but the oldies are great fun to find. Gotta roll with the punches in life, Steve

Well Steve I hope and pray you don't get punched too much and keep the faith that you'll still be blessed to find the goodies! :) Ma Betty
