I found an entire six pack once. Drank 'em too ::cheers:

But worse, it indicates earth movement in that spot. Who knows what may be out of reach beneath that much soil.

Oh yeah, you'll find stuff like that periodically. I have found that as well as cans of Spam and such.:detecting: I didn't eat it, though.:spin:Happy Hunting:)

Earth movement ?? REALLY???
Sure. 3" of soil didn't just plop down on that one can. It got moved there somehow, which bodes ill for the rest of the area.

Yeah it was earth movement alright, earth moved by the Wino that stashed it there. Alkies stash there booze in strange places.

I found something related to your experience one time. I found a flattened beer can about three inches or so down full of probe holes - but no one had the gumption to dig it up and find the roll of silver quarters buried right under it.

Bill

It was such a goofy signal i HAD to dig it at least
i got trash outa the ground!!!!

it was Pabst NO WAY would i drink it even if
it came out of a frdge let alone the ground!!!

Hasppy safe hunts to all

If it was beach sand I would be inclined to agree. But, I find it hard to picture anyone digging a hole in dirt to stash one can of beer.
You could be right, of course. You usually are. But it seems a stretch....

maybe the squirrels in the park are alcoholics and that pbr was their stash

My dad once found a six pack of full Utica Club cans in cement blocks when he was demolishing a building. They were in the old steel cans and looked brand new. He iced it down and found that sadly the beer was not in the same pristine condition as the cans.

In a different building he found a jar with 300 silver dollars in it. That was in 1980 or so and he and his brothers spit them three ways and he sold his for silver value right when silver was around $50/ounce. I think he got 3 grand. My family got a new TV. I think he gave my sisters and I 25 bucks each. Cheapskate. Sorry Pop!

Now what's wrong with Pabst. That was the beer hat kept folks from dying of thirst after the Great Chicago Fire. That's where they get the slogan, " The Beer That Made Milwaukie Famous."

Bill

Winos don't have much or any money and if one left his laying around it wouldn't be there long and he'd be out of luck when he needed a quickie. There is no honor among Winos. HA.
