Hi everyone. just thought I'd let you all know how I'm doing. Yesterday I left the house for the 1st time since my surgery and went to our detecting club meeting. It was very nice to get my mind off not feeling well. Sure didnt hurt that I won a silver dollar for a door prize either <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
My arm is still in a sling most of the day. You'll never know how much you move your arm until you try not to move it... OUCH.
Today I even had a chance to break bread with my 'ol detecting buddy Mike from mi.
Also its humbling to have someone help you put on your coat and tie your shoes.(no Mike didnt do that my wife did!!)
I have my 1st doctors apt. on the 27th and will most likely start PT.
Also wanted to tell everyone to have a blessed Christmas
Greg from mi

My brother-in-law had a similiar operation and really took the PT to heart. He is not in the hobby but he is right back to his old bowling form..So indeed it plays a big part in getting back to your old self...One hopes you can eat well with your opposite hand as its the season...

eating well with the left hand!!! it just takes longer
Baaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha
