UPDATE !!!!! Emergency prayers

Pete in MI

New member
We are back home...long night. Sherry already has stomach and intestine problems from the food poisoning she had gotten back in Dec. 2006. Meds are required to do what they body would normally do with foods but when one cannot take the meds (which require being within easy reach of a bathroom) then the system backs up. With Sherry's Mom in the hospital Sherry has not been able to take those meds and so things got blocked in her intestines until the pain was excruciating beyond anything she had ever had up to this point.

She is doing better and as I say we both are home. Poor Casey was here alone last night with only a cellphone to keep us in touch...and during the night probably due to the stress got sick in her bedroom. We got back home around 5 or 5:30 this morning.

Sherry and I told Casey to go sleep with Mom...they needed the security of being together.

I thank you all for the prayers for our family and especially Sherry last night. It is times like this one realizes how much they really love their mates. Don't know what I would do without her.

Thanks again everyone for the emergency prayers.

I am happy that Sherry is back home...I hope that she will not have any further problems like this....Please tell her I said "Hello" and I am praying for her to stay well

her computer locked up...wouldn't start...she made an attempt to use the restore disk and guess in her weakened condition must have hit a wrong key....it re-installed Windows XP and DELETED EVERYTHING on her computer...all her pictures of family, friends, etc., all her business files, all her emails and address book...EVERYTHING.

She doesn't know it yet - she is asleep but she will awaken to a horrible nightmare.

I'll let her know you said HI, Lorraine.

She has NO backups of these files.

Hi Pete, hope and pray things look and get better. I'm not an expert with software by any means but wonder if you can possibly try a system restore with the restore point set maybe one day before the re-install, it sounds like you have nothing to lose by trying it! Keep us posted.
