I called the hotel and the manager was in. Talked to him for a few minutes. He really was busy and didn't know if he had time to see me today but really didn't want to put it off so asked if I could be there in 20 minutes.

Talk about short notice. Just got back from peddling the bicycle around the other end of town picking up job apps while the van was getting new brakes so was all sweaty. Glad the better half gave me a hair cut yesterday.

Well, they have a maintenance guy. He was impressed with my knowledge of security, computers, home maintenance (drywall repair, electrical, etc.) So now I work the other half the day the other guy is off.


YES!!!!!!! I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THANK YOU JESUS! THANK YOU FATHER! AND THANK YOU HOLY SPIRIT!
Thank you Brothers and Sisters for your prayers.

Starting at minimum wage for the first 30 days then will move me up to $8 an hour after 30 days if I work out ok. Start tomorrow night...doing security which will allow me access to everything in the building so I will have more than enough time to get used to the layout of the building.
 
Congratulations brother, what a terrific gift from God. He always has the perfect plan, we just need to be faithful and patient to watch it unfold.
 
Congratulations Pete on your new job and I pray all works out for you and you get your pay raise! God is awesome and He answers prayers but in His own time for our good and for His purpose! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for Your love and mercy for Pete and all of us who are Your Children! :angel:
