Pete in MI
New member
Yesterday Sherry came into the living room complaining of a headache worse than she had ever had. While I looked for some Excedrin, Sherry sat and talked to me.I checked the internet for headache - worst ever and found this:
Brain Aneurysm

Another symptom was nausea.
I started hearing her say "Oh no, Oh No" over and over. I looked over and she was shaking uncontrollably....I called 911!
On the way to the hospital I called Mike from MI asking for prayers from all. (Thank you Mike!) Made a lot of calls to church and other family members on the way to the hospital.
At the hospital, the ER doctor said she had a stroke. A catscan was done - results were negative.
They did a spinal tap - results negative.
Still Sherry was shaking (now just one hand) and still saying "Oh no".
Next test was to be an MRI. I'm leaving a lot out of this. As she was rolled out of the MRI room on the guerney, Sherry spoke "Casey", "Pete" over a couple times when she saw us.
Then she was talking almost normal since that point. She is still in the hospital, I am at home. I could not get on line at the hospital and will be off line again very soon to get other things done and get back to the woman I love.
They still have no idea why she suffered a stroke. Cannot explain why they cannot see the stroke in the catscan, the spinal tap or the MRI. She is progressing well. Her headache is slowly subsiding with medication and the nausea has finally passed from her.
All I can say at this point, is THANK YOU FATHER GOD AND JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. Thank you for your prayers, please keep her in your prayers. Thank you and may God bless you all as much as He has blessed me in the past 24 hours. = and that is ALOT!
We are expecting Sherry to be released tomorrow. The doctors still want to try to find what set this off.
