It seems that McAfee sees the update installer as running a virus and causes all sorts of frustration when people try to update their Deus to the latest version.
Turning off the anti-virus should be the first thing you try if you get error messages . . . . but it only seems to be an issue with McAfee. This seems to work for most people.
If that still does not work, you probably need to uninstall it and the do the update . . and then reinstall it. I have had 2 or 3 people that had to go this route when the update failed to work as expected. The odd thing is they had updated to V4.2 with no issues last year and now it sees it as a virus signature.
Keep that in mind if you have issues updating your Deus
