A quiet night...

...except for the storms.
Brian slept all night and didn't need any assistance until 7 this morning. We cleared his trach and gave him his morning round of meds an then he went back to sleep.
He did wake up again around 2pm and wanted to sit up. He held our hands and asked for his rings. One of my hobbies is metal detecting and there is a Christian Metal Detecting web-site I am a member of.
One of the members lives in New York and makes rings out of silver coins. When he read the prayer requests for Brian he asked if he could make a ring for Brian. It is his favorite ring and never left his hand until he was sedated and we were afraid he might lose it.
He also has a spinner ring that we got him and it resides on his other hand. We put the rings on his fingers and then he relaxed and is now sleeping again.
Sarah is here and when Brian heard her voice he lifted his hand to hold hers and smiled at her presence before going back to sleep.
Brian's best friend Garrett and his mom visited last night but I'm not sure if Brian was aware of his visit.
His other best friend and cousin Justin called and asked if he could visit today. He'll be here soon
