Update of Cliff's illness and prayer please................

After all the tests in two hospitals and seeing his primary dr and his lung specialist, they say he has PAH, which is Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension! This is a very bad illness! They want to give him Tracleer a med that is very expensive and could cause liver sclerosis or failure in about 11 percent of patients! We looked it up on the net and on the discountdrug.com it is almost $4,000 for 56 tablets and if taken he has to visit the drs and have blood tests taken once a month! If he get liver damage from taking this med, I think the only thing he could do then is have a liver transplant, which would be very expensive! The ins will pray 2/3 of the cost and another place that helps has a $6000 grant to help pay the balance for the rest of the year! We don't really know what he should do, for either way he would be very ill! He is going to see if there is an alternative med in place of that one!

Please pray that he and also me, by prayer and helping him, will make the correct decision! Right now, we are leaning towards him not taking it, but he will continually get worse! As you know, I am using a Holistic Treatment for an aliment myself... I'll do some research to see if any alternative use of natural foods and herbs will help reverse or treat this issue Cliff is having... May God give us the wisdom to find that alternative to avoid meds can that really cause even more problems... Faith....

Ma, God will provide the medicine that Cliff needs. God knows his need, and God WILL answer all the prayers.
 
Thanks, Philo! And I hope you can help us find something besides something that might cause Liver Failure! Cliff believes in herbal medicine, for God created them for our good health and for eating! He drinks Good Earth Herbal Teas and makes juice every morning out of fresh fruits and vegs! I just bought some more apples, a cantalope, bell peppers, oranges and already have celery and carrots! He uses some lemon juice and sometimes gets too much and it is sour, but most of the time the juice tastes really good! We also drink DanActive!

I hope all goes well with you and your situation! Prayers for your healing and feeling A-OK in Jesus' healing virtue, for by His stripes we were healed.....meaning He has healed us for our sins and sicknesses already, we just have to truly believe! But we still live in a sin-sick world with too many chemicals including chemical medicines! :sad: :angel: God Bless! Betty
 
Thanks everyone! Yes, God will provide and Cliff never likes to take meds but he has been now for the past year or year and a half! He never even took aspirin unless he had a migraine and then took something for it! When it is his time to pass on, I know he will but hard to let people go, especially close relatives! Man is appointed once to die and then the judgement! I hope we both get a good report by belonging to God's Family! :angel: God Bless! Betty
