Cliff was released, yesterday, after insisting that he get to go home! His primary dr, I think, wanted him to stay an extra day at least, but with the $$$$ signs adding up with all the costs of drs, hosp and equipment and etc. He wanted to be where he could rest and eat at his liesure! Sure cannot get any rest or peace in a hosp, as they would come in every 3 hours to take his vitals and to see about him, as he wasn't supposed to walk around without someone knowing or being with him!
He is resting and sleeping now and with the rainy weather it is a good day to sleep! I could use some myself, but have to get prescrips filled and food, as I never had a chance to go to the store or get his glasses repaired!
The lung dr saw him before he left and said his x-rays show he has scars or spots on his lungs caused by asbestos, when he worked on brakes for years! He was a mechanic for Midas Muffler and even has scars on his eyes from welding! He has to wear thicker lens on one eye than the other and it is thick, too! Right now, he cannot see very well until his glasses are repaired! We both will have to go for retesting and probably new glasses again!
I think he has Mesothelioma?? and that isn't good, but they haven't mentioned Cancer, as yet! He has gone down hill fast in the past year and is still very weak.....needs plenty of oxygen liters to keep him going!
Last night the Apria Oxygen HealthCare was here to set him up with a B-PAP which helps him breathe through his mouth rather than his nose, as his nose is so stopped up from bleeding and from being broken years ago, plus sinus problems! The lung dr is supposed to give him a prescrip for meds, too, but haven't heard as yet, but think Cliff is supposed to call him today! Monday, he has to call his primary dr and see him.....so it is still run, run and run some more!
I don't like to go so much, as I am a stay at home person! But what has to be done....has to be done!
Well, that's it for now and I sure thank you and appreciate all your prayers for Cliff and me! I know God is able to do a healing in him and me, because we love Jesus, for our good and for His purpose! Therefore, God's will be done in both of our lives! I know Whom I serve and if either of us leave this old world, I know we will be with Jesus, someday!
Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, and Holy Spirit! My prayers are will you all!
God Bless! Betty
