The doctor just called Joan. They say she has Calcified Uterine Leiomyoma(calcium in the uterus) two hernias, degenerative discs in the spine(which the Dr. says you get as you get older), and a scar on one of her kidneys, which is probably from a past kidney infection. They have scheduled for her to meet with a gynecologist on March 3 at 2:15pm. We will find out more then and what is the best approach. From what I found so far on the Internet, the Leiomyoma is a benign tumor, but I am no doctor. Please keep Joan in your prayers, and thank you all for your prayers up to this point.
