Update on my best ATX Find

I found this 14k gold wedding set at the Huntington Beach, CA, Dog Beach a week after Hurricane Marie's high swells ripped open the beach in September.

Today, I took the ring to a local jeweler in Seal Beach, CA, for an expert opinion about the ring.

The Jeweler said the wedding band portion of the ring was from the 30's or 40's and most likely a grandmother's wedding band. He said the seven diamonds in the wedding band had a European cut in diamonds and they were of good quality.

The Jeweler said the large diamond in the engagement ring was of top quality and the diamond alone would retail for $2200.00. He believed the engagement ring was from the 80's and whoever fused the rings together did great work.

This one ring alone may cover most, if not all of the $1660.00 that I paid for the ATX.

No wonder this hobby is so addicting ... Thanks for looking....HH
