Update on my mom.......

First let me say thank you for your prayers.
The cancer docs came in Friday. They said if she did nothing she had a few weeks here on Earth. If she wanted to treat with chemo then she may have 7 to 9 months. She started chemo yesterday, and had round two tonight. One more round tomorrow then she might be able to go home on Tuesday. Then it would be 3 weeks till her next treatment. They did an MRI this morning to see if there was any cancer on the brain. The results came back and they did find cancer in the bones of the skull, but not the brain. The doc said this does not change anything. Please continue to pray for the family.
Thank you.

Mike

will do....hold on brother

We continue to pray, Mike. Just a word of encouragement--Travis's mom had a very aggressive form of cancer and was given a 2-4% chance of surviving more than a months time. God intervened and she lived Five years in reasonably good health. In these Five years, she enjoyed her family and ministered to many. She had cancer in the lining of the brain; it was completely reversed through radiation. She had cancer in her spine; a rod was put in to prevent paralysis. She lived quite some time and relatively pain-free this way. Was able to take care of herself until the last month or so of life before being gloriously healed by being called home. We are praying for salvation for your mother!!!!

Having been through the chemo thing, I wouldn't wish that on anyone but prayerfully hope your mom's remaining months are a time of peace. No doubt she will experience some sickness because of the chemo but that comes with the treatment unfortunately. You mom, your family, and, of course, you Mike, will be in my thoughts and prayers in the coming months as your mom continues on with her treatments.
