update on my ring....

i took it to my dads today and he tested the stones. they are CZ's as i had suspected. the ring itself is white gold plated over zinc. which would explain the signal i got that jumped from nickel (gold) to zinc. so its worth about 10-20 bux. I still like it though. i think rings are the coolest to find.
