My hernia operation went well. I was surprised at how black and blue I got both from shots in my stomach for the blood thinners and also where the surgery was done....thank God for ice packs and Vicodin. I am doing well and should be doing whatever I want in about a week or two. Thanks for the prayers for healing - much appreciated.
Sherry is going to be going in for major surgery Dec 1 to fix her insides. Her stomach seems to have moved upwards and intestines are in there pushing up on the stomach to the point that she is having reflux a lot more than before but also she has more pain and hard to breath as the stomach pushes up into the lungs. So this will be a MAJOR surgery indeed. She has to have it done before the new year as her medical coverage will run out.
Sherry did get her other eye fixed. The left eye had a cataract that made her look like an old dog. She got the cataract removed and is almost 20/20 in that eye and 20/20 in her right. She will be getting glasses soon to bring them both to 20/20. God's always in control and His timing is wonderful. As Sherry has gained her vision now she is once again driving....timing...as I am losing the ability to see clearly at night myself. I have both cataracts and glaucoma in both eyes. God knew our needs before we did. Thank you Father.
I still need a job. Got a call from a production plant up here. Missed the call. Called them back and then never heard back from them again (the HR person wasn't there when I called). They may still call after they go thru the current list of people they are trying to hire. Seems about 50 per cent fail the drug testing. Wonder if Vicodin comes up on those drug tests?
Oh well. Just thought I pass along how things are going. Casey continues to need our prayers to get her back from the worldly pleasures and back to God. (She is saved....just not living for the Lord right now. Snared by worldly pleasures).
