Update on Ray

DK

New member
Got a call at work tonight, that Ray, the friend from church that had leukemia, passed away at about 8:30 tonight. He was only diagnosed with it a month or so ago. Took him quick, but Ray was saved and he is now with Jesus. Thanks for all your prayers for Ray. Please continue to pray for Rays wife Janie that God will give her comfort at this time.

Praying for Jesus' loving arms to enfold Janie with comfort, love and peace that passes all understanding, for he is in a far better place and won't be suffering any more! Praise God for His amazing grace of forgiving our confessed sins! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

I'm sure she knows where Ray is but there is a gap in her life where Ray was. I doubt that she'll be angry with God, it's just that when we marry we think of lifelong commitment not necessarily until death do us part.

Sorry to hear that , but glad he is with JESUS . Will pray for the family.

Visitation is Monday and funeral is Tuesday. It got him quick, but he was as upbeat as he could be when Joan and I visited in Dayton two weeks ago. Jesus gave him peace to face death.

Visitation was packed tonight. Ray played in some gospel bands so many people were there. His wife is holding up well, relying on her faith in God.

Thanks for the update! May God Bless all with His love and peace! Amen! Ma Betty

May the family be comforted in Jesus' love tonight and in the days and years to come! A loved one is missed being with the family and is never forgotten! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
