Tami called me from her son's place and she drove up here from Benton, MO in this cooooooolllld weather to be with her grandkids which she does every other Tuesday...she said the Interstate and roads are clear though! She said the drs only give Rita 3 weeks to live, as the cancer, having spread through her body, is in her brain now and she is in hospice care...Tami is taking it hard but Rita is still fighting with faith but has ended all her treatments so she can be focused on her children and grandchildren without drugs fogging up her mind!
Please pray for her to have an easy transition to God or for complete healing in whatever HIs will is for her and please pray for Tami to have safe traveling home with no car trouble in this horribly cold Artic weather which we are having to endure right now! Thanks for all your prayers and May God Bless!
Also, I wanted to sent out letters and copies of my Christmas poems with some checks to several in need, but Tami is going into the hospital for surgery around Jan 10th and will need me to help her with paying the bills and maybe medical expenses! Troy is unemployed because of the cold weather and she will be out of work for at least six weeks without any sick-leave pay, so I hope and pray ya all understand where I am coming from and her dad just told her not to ask for any money, as he didn't have any...which he always says, but has more than me or he wouldn't be traveling around the country like he does in RV's and a newer vehicle...but ya know that what he speaks may come to pass and then find himself without any money like he keeps on saying!! Tami told him she would never, never ever ask him for money again and he said, Good, as I don't have any! He gets a pension, has or had a 401-K and stocks and bonds and double the SS I get or more but he is BROKE!
I told her I didn't have much but whatever I have I will share and help her! I know what a hysterectomy is like, how she suffers from Fibromyalgia and Depression and how difficut it is on her to clean rooms while the Victorian Inn people are trying to discourage her to get her to quit, but she won't and they have nothing to fire her over and she does do good work of cleaning the rooms where many don't!
Sorry, to tell you of mine and Tami's problems, but wanted you to know and understand that my intentions were good but now I am going another way, hopefully, in God's many blessings for us both! Amen!
