Got there bright and early this morning.what a nice day...I was planing on hunting it hard today. There was the usual noise...electrical noises....very hard to detect but managable...found few pieces of scrap iron...some sort of reed thing....2 shallow dimes....and then a silver chain and sterling St.Christepher metal....it feels heavy....then I got a quiet silver coin hit again like the other day...this time I upped the gain from 7 to 8 and what a diff. it made. I could hear it alot better...7 was a whisper to me...dug about 5 or so inches and hit lots of rocks in my way....I was getting in to it trying to pry the big one out when I looked up and met the eyes of a police officer....Hi
he said I can't dig for treasure on city property....I told him I looked it up on internet and state law says I can hunt public schools and playgrounds and parks.....and he said " I don't know where you got your info but there is no digging on city property....and he even offered to give me a summons if I wanted to contest it.....WHAT A NICE GUY!!!!!I declined his offer cause I really want to protect my investment in my Treasure hunting equipment. I have never had this happen to me before in a school yard..esspecialy one that is boarded up......In Maine an officer actually was very interested and asked me lots of question about it and said good luck and left me be.....I am baffled...needless to say I never recovered the silver coin....
