Update on the night job.

Well I just got back from my job interview, It went great. My old supervisor sent word that "I was the best security officers that he has had the privilege of working with". He is a good friend of mine and we get together at least once a month. It was funny, it took me more than a year and a half to use a sick day, I had to call him with 2 hours to spare, I had a car fire and my car burnt to a cinder and I got the hair on my arms burnt off, and some of my hair on my head. he told me to take as much time as I needed, he was surprised when I was back at work the next day.

I have to go back and fill out some paperwork for the state on Wednesday, but I should be able to start on Friday. They had a site thats only 3 miles from my house, and it has 2 guards per shift (that makes it a whole lot easier, when you can talk to somebody to help pass the time). I jumped on that site. So I am very happy, soon I will have my new toys and some more coin for my pocket!!!!!

Sorry to read about the car fire.

I wish you the very best....

Oh no, my car fire was more than a year ago. Nah, I already have a new car.

This was my race car, it was a 1985 IROC Camero. all after market parts, all burntup with in 10 min. I turned the ignition and boom, fire ball!!!! Thank the lord I had the door open, I just bailled out onto the concrete. And no, I only had liability insurance, The fire investagators already asked me the same question.

I've done many years of security work for 4 different agencies. (Some better than others). I know what you mean about having a partner to get through long hours. Probably worst place I worked was a cement company that had closed its doors...a couple years earlier. They supposedly worried one of the old employees would do damage. No one cared. That was a lone guard position and the cement dust made cleaning the uniform a daily thing.

Glad you work for someone you trust and will be at it soon.
