I am looking for a cheap metal detector for my son and I. Recently my grandfather passed and I want to search our family land. I just found out that my aunt & uncle want to sell it so I don't know how much time I will have. The land has been in our family for over 100 years and I would like to try to find some things they might have dropped or hidden. I know my great grandfather had some hiding spots to get away from all the kids (He had 13 children). I am also taking my son to the beach for the first time and would like to detect there as well. I also just found out that I have to have another procedure done so I can't afford very much. I really shouldn't be spending at all but I think our family history is too important! Thank you for your time.
