Updating to V4 using a Mac

Hi all. I'm trying to update my Deus using a Mac with Windows 7 installed. I've downloaded the update program but it won't open. Has anybody used a Mac with a Windows program installed and been able to do the update? The pop-up I'm getting is XP Deus Update has stopped working. Has anyone else had this problem?

Apparently nobody on this forum has a Mac that they downloaded the Deus V4. So, anybody in the So. Cal./San Fernando Valley area have a PC I can use?

Sorry I should have answered your post.
I don't own a MAC so I don't know for sure, but it is my understanding that it has to be a PC.

Did you download with windows explorer or safari?
Deus website says compatible with explorer,Firefox and chrome browsers.
Ive never done the deus update but I have used Mac with Windows only audio programs,
And it has to be downloaded with explorer not safari.

Thanks Noah. I was in windows 7 with an explorer browser open. I downloaded the update, but it wouldn't open. I kept getting a pop-up saying the update is not working.

That's a bummer.
Hope someone has a remedy.
I've been wanting to get a deus,
But I do t want a new PC to go with it

Why not purchase a XP Deus with V4.0 already loaded.

If they are available when I'm ready I definitely will.
Seems most dealers have v3.2 for sale currently.

I would think that any Dealer would up-date a Deus if you wanted it that way.

I'm not sure what happened, but the update finally worked on my Mac with parallels window's 7. I haven't tried changing anything yet, but the remote recognizes both the 9" and 11" coils and the WS4 headphones. Now, to start hunting.
