Upgrading to Teknetics T2se?

New member
I presently own a Bounty Hunter Land Ranger. It has worked just fine for me. I got a bug to upgrade, so I ordered a T2 SE, and it should be here in a few days. I had read the reviews on the T2, and they were all very good to excellent. Then I found this great forum. I live in SE Wisconsin and do most of my detecting at parks and beaches, without the success that some on this forum have had. Over the years that I have owned the Land Ranger I have found a pocket full of change (nothing real old) and a wedding band type ring made out of a silver half dollar. I never spent a lot of time detecting, until recently, when I became semi retired. Now my new T2 is on the way, but after reading some of the posts on this forum I am wondering if I made the right choice. I could return the T2 for one of the other Teknetics models. I am interested in any ones opinion.

You made a great choice on machine and place to come talk about your machine. Tons of great guys and useful knowledge here! Welcome! :teknetics:

T2 is a great machine and I imagine the T2 SE is even better. You'll really enjoy that machine. Just take the time to learn it's language and it will perform excellently. Don't be afraid to put the sensitivity 40 or below when you're learning. Slowly crank it up as you feel more comfortable with the T2's "language". Just recently found a silver dime on edge around 6" with my T2's sensitivity set to 12. I was impressed with how clear it came through.

exceptional machine ,cant go wrong .you will need a good spade to get at the deep targets though.
