Didn' get out a beepin, did assemble, LORDY, they built good, bout like a tank, checked out alla the features and did some air test in case I see flyin dimes, they b in trubble, mebbe tomorra I get out, like all Garretts, built for keeps, and even looks good, excellent balance with 7 x 10 ellip coil, looks to be a keeper / was gonna be anyhow :detecting::garrett::detecting:
 
I had a older one, it was a great detector but was a little on the heavy side. so i sold it. that was 4 years ago. HAVE FUN !!! it is always a new adventure when you get a new detector.:thumbup:

Bugar,is your grand master hunter the model made in 1988? The first plastic big box Garrett with a microprocessor? If it is,I have one I just picked up recently. Some say this is the deepest of the CX line. The CX III with powermaster might exceed it,but the GMH is no slouch in comparison.
