USA vs. Russia on XP Deus prices

Why would it be cheaper to buy from Russia on the bay than USA? Example 9" Deus coil:
$484.00-free shipping USA
$1106.61-free shipping USA
$$299.00-$16.90 shipping Russia
Lower stem:
$56.00-$8.95 shipping USA
$57.95-$5.95 shipping USA
$39.90-free shipping

At $39.90 for a lower rod, I couldn't resist.

I no longer buy from ebay if its coming out of the US, I will buy from Canada or Europe or for some things if I'm not in a hurry China or Hong Kong but no longer from the US due to ebays "Global Shipping" There also now seems to be some movement on the part of (Guessing here) Canada Post to discourage purchases from the US, the cost of shipping to Canada from the US has just become unreal. I am waiting to hear from a friend that lives in the next state to me to see if I can have things shipped to her (free) and then have her parents bring them up (there there almost as much as here, maybe more, dual citizens) and the post office can "pound sand"

I know when I was tossing back and forth between the Deus and the CTX (I chose the Deus in the end) the CTX was way more expensive in the UK then it was in the US or Canada I am not sure why. On machines or coils I would be concerned it would be a counterfeit, not saying it is but I would have a concern.

All the Best

Why is there a big difference in US price for the 9" coil? Is this a typo? Doesn't make sense.

I know where you can buy them in the us for 400- 425 no need to order from the bay.

If you have a problem with a deal from Russia it will be a whole lot harder to resolve than one from the USA.

Where's the beef. A Russian Ebayer is selling a 9" coil for $299.00. I looked and it is only one. His loss if that's all he is asking. Maybe your loss if u buy. That's the risk buying abroad. The one in the US at 1106.91 not 1106.61 cause I looked at that one also. This guy has 3 for sale. Why would anyone want to buy one of these when u can buy a Deus lite with a 9 or 11" coil for $799.. He is just opposite, selling very high in hopes a buyer doesn't notice the price or hoping some grand parent gets it for a grandchild because they want it. That's the world of Ebay. Neither has been beneficial to my looking for new information and tips on the Deus on the forum. The one for $484.00 new is probably a reasonable price. Not a real bargin though. I'm saving up for hopefully September. I'm in no hurry to send my Name and address to Russia.

I saw an American dealer advertise a Deus with 2 coils for less than MAP price for 1 coil, the picture showed the remote but the description did not mention the remote so people need to be careful.

There are so many quality dealers that are forum sponsors that will make a great deal over the phone just can't advertise, call them and you will be glad you did, you won't get ripped off on some foreign deal either

Just my 2 cents worth

good advice! Call and haggle. will save you some bucks.

I've had bad experiences buying and selling Detectors on E-bay, takes forever to resolve, I've learned my lesson , Hard to beat a reputable dealer, even if you don't get it for the price you'd like, it takes all the worry and headache out.. believe me..

So what is a good price from a dealer on a WS4 that is under retail that they cant advertise at?
