With the temperatures into the low 40s at mid-day and the tide low at 10AM I thought I might brave the 38Degree water and get the Dual Field wet this morning.
As i walked out to the waters edge to "get a feel" for the conditions a cold breeze kicked up out of the West/N West and made me glad I had on several layers of warm clothing and helped me change my mind about wading today.
The water as you can see in these pictures is perfect, but the sand has moved down from way up on the beach from where it was last week to cover those areas I prefer to hunt with up to 4 feet of sand.

In a few places the sand has moved the low tide water line out 40 or 5o feet and more.
The line of shell down the middle of the beach is about where the low tide water line was only a week ago!
This buoy is anchored with a heavy mooring anchor and chain and when the water is at dead low you can almost step onto the 2' float without stepping into the water! It was about twenty feet out at low tide when the sand was pushed up onto the beach.

The next two shots give better contrast.

Two years ago I found two gold rings at the waters edge during low tide where the line of shells passes directly in line with this fence.

And lastly the ladder is now buried at the bottom once again.

It was exposed and about three feet above the sand last week!

Present hunting conditions helped me decide not to brave the cold water and to wait a while longer in hopes that maybe one of my favorite hunting spots will become more exposed.
