I traveled farther to hunt today than ever before just so I could learn more about hunting a different area of the Connecticut Shore and to meet Craig-PI, a Forum Friend, for the first time!

The beach was heavily sanded and loaded with lots of scrap metal, but the weather and tide were right so it was still a fun outing with Craig and his hunting friend Robert.

We all were armed with Dual Fields and hauled away lots of recovered targets to prove it.

I'm not sure how Robert did, but Craig and I both found a few bullets of different calibers, complete cartridges, and misc. coins to make it an interesting hunt.

Craig, many thanks for taking time out of your buisy schedule to show me one of the beaches you frequent.

I'm sure you appreciate having me remove some of the scrap metal for yoy.

We'll have to hunt again soon, but maybe a little closer to my end of the state next time!

This Old Hunter is one tired puppy!!:goodnight:

Next Time I'll travel up your way to see if I can find a little gold... if I had known earlier you were going to come down I would have taken you to the beach I scored the gold on in March ;)

I did ok... nothing spectacular... I was trying follow you off the beach but hit a small pocket with a few good finds :)

CJ... I really haven't hunted that beach more than once since last fall... I'll go back though but only to that spot that was washed out... last year that area was high and dry where we were ;)

Hi Craig,

Thanks again for the hunt and good luck with the washout!

I saw all kinds of surface scrap metal farthur along as I walked out.

Regards,

CJ

That section of the beach is why I purchased a Sovereign GT ;)

Good hunt guys! Sure wish I was there CJ, Maybe next time. ;)

It would be my pleasure to share a hunt with you one day Joe!

Scheduling can be a problem as I am still game-fully employed as opportunity presents and as a plumbing repairman must be available if possible.

It was some time before I could trek to Bridgeport for Sundays hunt, but finally, and as is usually the case, on short notice, I made it.

I do look forward to the hunt whenever we can manage it,

CJ
