I have found enough keepers with the DF to pay for it with a little left over!!
I really like the machine and hope to find many more goodies with it before the DF or I "cash in our chips"!!
One thing that is still puzzeling me is how the pulse delay feature is used and why it is necessary.
When I started hunting with the DF I had years of experience with PI units and have done well with them.
I had read that the pulse delay was to be clicked "on", but not turned beyond that position and all of my finds were located using that setting.
Recently I read a post from an experienced hunter who told of doing very well by leaving the pulse delay turned off, perhaps twice as well as when he clicked it on.
Will someone please clear this up for me?
Many thanks,
CJ
