Unfortunatly it's of some mystery metal that weighs almost nothing!

Six 1&2 oz fishing sinkers, four clad quarters and misc. (mostly aluminum) junk tells me the machine is doing its job, but gold is still illusive!!

GL&HH friends,

Look on the inside of the ring,if you see this symbol " Ti " you have a Titanium ring. Do a google search on Titanium rings and you will be surprised at the number of different styles and prices listed.

The ring is old and appears to have been gold plated silver.

After I scraped some the oxidation off I checked for hallmarks and found nothing

The plating is gone, but I could see a gold trace on one tiny spot of the badly erroded surface.

Had it been gold in that size and unerroded, it would have been a heavy ring!

Thanks for your interest and reply.
