After a night of heavy winds and rough water I knew the water would be too stirred up this AM for a pleasant hunt, but I didn't expect to see what I found when I got to the beach!!

Sand has been pulled down from high on the beach out into the water covering any targets up to several feet!.

Sovereign hunting may be worthwhile in the top 2/3rds of the slope.

On the lee side of breakwaters eddy currents have cleared a few small areas worth exploring when the water settles down.

On the windward side sand has been dumped to a depth of five feet and more!

The chain link fences often have their bottom links a foot or more above the sand after a blow stirs things up.

I'm lookin forward to checkin things out when Ol Ma lets me out there again,

Mother Nature will fix it again CJ. She's always
changing things around....LOL give it a couple

Still too windy for my taste, but shifting sands have opened a little hunting here and there on the lee side of breakwaters.

Close to the bulkhead the sand is over a foot deep from the eddy currents sweeping around the end, but there is less sand a few yards down stream than there has been in a while and there is a cut bank and more severe drop to the water line.

That is true here too. This tree is more exposed today and if the conditions continue, it may be gone tomorrow.

Today the sand is piled higher and is spilling over the top of these bulkheads.

Hunting below the top of the cuts and out in the water is looking like a good idea!

Now if Ol Ma would calm down a bit...............................!
