:usaflag: Past Finds

Bill in Texas

New member
I was cleaning a spot in my room when I ran across these MD finds. I have a safety deposit box with a bunch of this kind of finds. The soldier with a gun was mine when I was a kid and I dug it up about 20 years ago (about 40 years later). all of these finds where of about that time. As I find more past finds I will share them a little at a time. Bill in Texas :tesoro:

Neat finds Bill. I found one of the horse shoe good luck things at an old homesite four or five years ago. It's just like yours except someone made a hole in it. Mine has a 1935 wheatie in it and has Suvenior of Alabama on the back. I also have a good luck token with a star in it like yours around here somewhere that was also found at a homesite. Neat finds, looking forward to seeing more of your past finds:).

JB, Mine says the same thing on both sides and has a 1919 penny. The star token had a former family member and address, so I turned it upside down. I was using a almost new Tesoro Inca at the time. Bill in texas :tesoro:

I like that soldier. Finding older stuff is always enjoyable. I just hope that I will be able to detect for another couple of decades, but still won't catch up to you Bill.
