Used JE instead of BP for the first time today, and liked it better

Hunted a manicured years, and decide to play around with controls a bit. I found that using JE with the same settings gave better signals, and was more stable than BP. The depth was what surprised me. It hit a quarter at 9" far better than the BP. Anyone else had hese results?

For flat ground, normal height grass turf, I like de and je better then bp. Je is pretty darn deep. For tall grass, underbrush and heavy leaves layers I find the boost mode far superior, though. HH jim tn

i noticed that also i hit a dime at 8 inches in je mode switched to bp and the signal seemed worse then tried de and the signal was all over the place ive been hunting places that i have hit many times with the f70 then the t2se and in je mode im getting some deeper stuff that i missed. so far no gold or silver in je mode but you never know hh

I am a novice at this -- I have an F70 -- so what is JE mode -- I have de -- and what is HH? I get the f70 but not the t2se? Sorry for not following such simple information -- what Fisher are you using? I am guessing the F75? and it has these other settings? Thanks, dbax

je mode stands for jewelry mode on the fisher f75ltd and the t2se is short for teknetics t2se metal detector hh means happy hunting. welcome to the forum the f70 is a dang good machine you should do well with it good luck and hh

Glad I'm not the only one liking the JE mode. It is just so deep and stable. At 70 sens, it hits harder than the BP Elton, at least for me. Give it a try on a manicured years, you may be surprised. I sure was.
