Used the 5" eXcelerator today. Rusty Metal ?

The lawn around my old house is just littered with metal. I tried the 5" coil today and dug 3 pennies. My best day yet! 2 memorials and a wheatie!

One question though... regardless of which coil I use, I'm digging a lot of old rusted metal on the right side of the screen. Is that strange?

However, when my gain is set at seven or less those signals don't repeat in all directions and it is easier for me to tell the difference between them and good targets. Deep rusted nails are always going to trick you though, so save them up and build yourself a dilapidated old building.
