Used the Fors Core today...

Hey all,
My hunting buddy Cedar Swamp got his Fors Core today and he let me use it at one of his hunting spots.
Great machine and very comfortable to swing.
Did manage to find a few goodies with it. LOL
Two tokens, two lincoln memorials, key, heart charm, buffalo nickel, and an old button.

How the CoRe unit hit your finds. As compared to some other detectors you've used???

Well IMHO it's like my Fisher 1280x with variable tones. Very easy to listen to. Scratchy or clipped sounds were junk and the smooth sounds were good targets of some type. I always envision a sine wave when I hear the sweet sound of "juice" LOL in the ground.
I like the mo-sheen and I told cedar swamp I need ta git me one. LOL

What mode were you using ? di2 or di3?

We programed in Di2 with the settings monte posted,,,,,,,,CEDAR

Nice finds, I agree with what you said about the tones once you figure out what is a good sound and what isn't it becomes super easy to avoid the junk.
