Using 5 x 10 " 18.75KHz Coil In The Rain

I have a question about Using the 5 x 10 " 18.75KHz Coil In The Rain. I understand it's not waterproof/submersible, but if I get caught in the rain, do I need to put a bag around the coil or head for the barn? Thanks, Skip

hi,

No, I dont think so ....just dont submerge it
Subvmersion sends water under pressure into cable joints etc.

I have used mine in light to medium rain many times with no problems at all.

Thanks, I'm taking it to England next week, and it does rain some over there. I appreciate the information. Skip
