If I use a F2 Sniper coil on a F70, will I hurt the coil and/or detector? Has anyone been brave enough to try it?
Yes! I know the coil is mismatched and will be inefficient. I am only worried about damaging something, not the efficiency of the combination.
My sniper coil on the F2 lets me snuggle right up to metal posts in a tot lot. My 11” DD on the F70 does not like the posts. Since I can not dig in a tot lot anyway, getting 3” or so out of the sniper on the F70 would serve my needs.
I just talked myself out of something. If I am going to a tot lot, I should just take the F2. I do not need the additional power of the F70.
Thank you, you just solved my problem.
But, I still wonder if it would hurt the coil or detector !!!!!!!
