went out today and had to use the ace250 since I am waiting to get the x-70 fixed. Already had plans to hunt with a buddy and did not want to cancel on him, so away we went.....today I started off at an old parochial school, that is where I got the rosary, it was the first thing I dug there, I also got the 1961 silver quarter as well, the little button, a lil clad and not much else.
From there went to an old homesite he knew about and the house is gone, and grass was too tall to hunt so I detected the edges of the yard that was bordered by corn fields, I got the 1907 V nickel on the edge of the corn field. It was laying right on top the field! That is my 7th V nickel this year! Probably my nicest shape one too.
