V Nickel , wheats

Tim LeBlanc

New member
I went back to the same place after work yesterday. I dug a lot of junk. I pulled out a 1908 V nickel. That's my first one BTW. Two wheat's 1923 & 1925. And something I'm not familiar with. A Burger Chef and Jeff. Fun money token. Never heard of Burger chef. And some kind of fake jewelry thing. Thanks for looking. HH......Tim

Tim nice detecting. Those V nickles are kind of neat finds. Don't see them coming up a lot. So nice going. On the Burger Chef. It was just like Burger King but I thought much better hamburgers. They went out of business probably in the 90's. Some great detecting Tim......Z

The F70 likes theV's, got three in the last 10 days at the sidewalk tearouts. Yesterdays was 6" in the corner of the dig. Easier read than the other two that were in the middle of the cinder/ash bed.
