V3i on salt beach

I just got back from South Carolina, and had a good time with the V3i at the beach. It took me a while to get good performance on the wet sand, but I eventually worked it out. It killed it in the dry sand. I found one of those heavy Tungsten Carbide rings at around a foot deep, in the wet sand I could only get a decent signal at around 9 inches or so on a quarter. It seems that Relic Mode with salt subtraction worked the best for me. I also used the 950 coil. Not too bad for my first attempt. Has anyone else found any settings that seemed to work good for you?

I'll be posting a quick vid on my channel sometime this week. The beaches I detected weren't eroded at all, but I did learn quite a bit :)
