Is there a setting to turn the speaker on and off? My sound for some reason just died the other day and I have been looking for a way to get it back. The head phones work great but it gets hot wearing them all the time. Is this something I need to send in for repair?

Thank you in advance for your replies.

Just go to your audio menu, scroll down to wireless HP, click then scroll down to speaker and put an X in the box(enter). Pull your trigger a few times to get back to the search screen and you should be set.
Good luck and let us know.

John, you absolutely ROCK!!! thank you so much.... I can now go without the headphones when i want. The wife says thank you as well because she goes with me and can never get me to answer her, How could I, I have head phones on!!!

If you know you're not going to be using the headphones, you can disable them as well. It will save power because it won't be sending info over the wireless link to the headphones which it will be doing if you leave them enabled in case you turn them back on again. Same menu.

And there you have it. Thanks for the great answers.
