Vacation finds

Well just got back from vacation.Went detecting at all my old ballfields I used to play on when I was younger. What a great time I had. I found over 600 coins.Seems like nobody ever detected them. Also found 4 silver dimes 1939,1964,1950,,1920.Oh yea poped out two silver rings too_One ring was cut in half,a big mans ring. Looks like lawnmower damage. But silver is silver..I love this Safari, I took it to one of my trashiest parks and had a ball. It makes it easy to pick the coins out right between the trash.I'm up to 540 coins at this one old park.Who would ever think you could find all those coins there. The oldest one was a 1894 one cent from Malhasia. It has a hole in the middle of it.Having great time with this machine.Though my hands are getting pretty sore from all this digging.Guess that is one price you have to pay.Just cashed in $ 85.00 in change. My wife dosen't think it's such a bad hobby after all..Still looking for my first gold.Hope it comes soon. Til next time happy hunting.

Way to go!!! Over 600 coins...man your back must be killing you! The coins are nice, but bringing back old memories....Priceless. Thanks for sharing.

Wow 600 coins give you 2 minutes a dig

1200 Minutes divide by 60 = 20 hours

One busy time one very fruitful dig....

Man my back and kness ache just thinking about all that digging and so fast to...:stretcher:

Enjoy the fruits of your labor and the venue....

That is definately a lot of coin Dave, its great doing on vacation at your leasure. Congrats and you're right the safari does make it easy to get the coins from the trash' quickly too. HH Ron
