Vaquero finds a 12K ring in soccer field

I was hunting a soccer field today with my "V" and found this very small 12K ring. Like other small rings I found this summer it was just below the surface and it disc'd out at the 5 cent mark. When I turned up the disc it became a little choppy and I almost didn't dig it thinking it might be trash, but then I thought, what if? Dig it all!

Gotta love this hobby!

Gold is always a good find I have several parks I go to, I am on a campaign to remove all pull tabs and junk. I have hit a couple of rings this summer, nothing great, but their still gold One of the reasons I love the Vaquero so much is my nickles have quadrupled. That's right were the rings and pull tabs are hiding! I love it when I go into a park that's been pounded and right off I hit zinc pennies, pull tabs and nickles.
