Vaquero fiound a ring tonight

Found this tiny ring just before dark in the yard behind us. It was down about 5 inches in the thick root filled soil about 6 feet off the base of a large palm. Here are three shots of it. It came up clean and shiny a quick water rinse was all it needed.
 
Thats a very nice ring , palm roots must be something like rope . glad we don't have them up hear
 
From the style and apparent age it might well be platinum. Based on the age of the property and location of the find it could date into the mid to late 1800's. The style seems to match similar period pieces and the wear would indicate it was worn for some time before being lost. It appears to be a wedding band.
