Vaquero Vs. Tejon

Ok, I have been using a Vaquero for over a year now and I have an itch to try out a Tejon. Anyone who has used both, could you give me your opinion of the pros and cons and how these two compare. I really love my Vaquero and will be keeping it. I'm just thinking I might like to add a Tejon. How good is the tejon for coins at old sites. thanks

Not a problem Barry

The tejon is a little deeper in an air test. And is said by many Tesoro gurus to be the deepest Tesoro now available.I agree. If you like the Vaquero, you will love the tejon. What a great compliment to the coils.A excellent coin detector.Because of the high frequency the tejon really backs down to a ultra smooth signal on deep silver coins. It actually helps to pick out deep coins. And if there is gold down there, the tejon will get it.It is truly a powerful and fun detector to operate. It has a slow retune all metal mode and fast retune all metal mode, dual disc circuits. You can hunt in the desired range. The ground balance is not as easy as the vaquero. The tejon is the perfect detector for old home sites. The toggle trigger is great. You can set this detector up so many different ways.It is a nice detector to have with the Vaquero. That is why i am getting another vaquero to go with my tejon. :-D

Barry, the time may come when you'll miss the Shadow X2.

I know Bill but I have one lined up already as another Backup as well but I sure want to try a compadre with the 5.75 coil as well Trust m ehtere will be a tear in my eye when I hand it over for the Tejon but I have committed to the trade and I am a man of my word besides he is a good friend and I am going to make sure if he decides to sell it I get first dibs LOL

I have a video uploading on the Tejon.A air test with nickel and silver ring. The Tejon and Sand Shark are my weapons this summer.I think you guys will like the Tejon test. :-D

Whats igt listed under would love to see it

It must be a good one.It has taken over twenty four hours to upload from the smart phone.I do not have wi-fi so it should be here soon hopefully.I took the tejon to the beach today.I found about 4.00 in clad in two hours. It did great. :-D I will make a new post when the vid finishes.

Look forward to your video! Sorry about no wifi, puts a damper on things like vids.
